A Bit About Delaney
Meet Delaney, Senior Class of 2025! She’s an avid soccer player and has been since the age of 3 years old. In addition to a variety of other sporting teams, she is also a member of the Key Club, National Honor Society & the Princeton High School Band. In addition to being a 4 year member of Princeton’s Lady Viking Soccer Team, she is also one of the Varsity Team Captains & demonstrates amazing leadership skills with an ability to remain composed in competitive situations. She loves being involved in school activities and any initiative that involves giving back or caring for others. Her future educational goals include potentially studying sports medicine or similar field, and potentially playing collegiate soccer as well!

How do you balance academic demands, extracurricular activities, and personal responsibilities during high school?
Balancing academics, extracurriculars, work and personal activity’s can be difficult. Not having a lot of free time has taught me to manage my time well, as I’m always working on something to either stay caught up or be ahead. As someone who’s had to figure out this balance their whole life, I am used to the busy lifestyle and I struggle in times where I have nothing to do. Being a senior now, I want to explore the personal endeavors a little more as sports and school have taken up most of that time in the past. Everyone’s balance is going to be different, but once you find the what works best, everything becomes more enjoyable!
